Information Session: Refugee Women at Work Program

Are you a refugee woman? Do you want to gain work experience? Join us for this information session to learn all about the Refugee Women at Work program.
This program will help you:
- Increase your self-confidence
- Express your opinions in a positive manner
- Explore your work and career options
- Prepare for work and enhance your skills for the job you want
- Learn about Canadian workplace culture
- Develop your job-search and interview skills
- Gain Canadian work experience through a 12-week, paid job placement
To attend this program, you must:
- Identify as a refugee woman
- Be a permanent resident, government-assisted refugee, privately sponsored refugee, or have received refugee status
- Have a strong interest to explore your personal and professional goals
- Commit to attending and completing the program’s 4-week training
- Commit to a 12-week, paid job placement
- Have a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark of 4 (CLB 4)
Please note:
- You must sign up for this information session by Monday, March 28
- The registration form will be sent by email
- The Refugee Women at Work program will begin on Tuesday, April 19
