New Online Employment Program: Cybersecurity Connections (Begins July 15)

Cybersecurity Connections is a flexible, online program that helps internationally trained Information Technology (IT) professionals find work in their sector in Canada.
In this program, you will receive:
- An employment-readiness workshop
- Orientation to the cybersecurity industry in Canada
- Connections to professional mentors in the field of IT
- The chance to attend an online or on-site networking event
- Access to online cybersecurity modules, curated by a recognized provider
- Post-employment coaching and ongoing support
The program will be delivered:
- Online
- Full-time for 6-8 weeks, starting July 15
To be eligible for this program, you must be unemployed or underemployed and have the following:
- Proof of post-secondary diploma or degree related to IT gained outside of Canada; or, a copy of credential evaluation from any recognized providers such as WES (including the free online preliminary evaluation), ICAS, or U of T
- A copy of your most recent resume, reflecting a minimum of 2 years’ work experience from outside of Canada in IT or cybersecurity
- A Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 6+, or an equivalent IELTS score
- An immigration status of either Permanent Resident (PR), Convention Refugee, Refugee Claimant, or naturalized Canadian Citizen
