On-Site Computer Training: Basic Computer Skills (Jan 9-18)

Level: Beginner

Number of Sessions: 5         

Session Length: 2 hours

In this hands-on, comprehensive computer skills course, you will learn how to:

• Practice logging in and using Microsoft Teams
• Do basic computer functions
• Navigate the internet
• Identify file types and folders
• Use Explore to open, save, and close files, and create folders
• Save documents to various locations including USB flash drives, folders, and email attachments
• Create and print documents such as assignments and resumes
• Do basic formatting such as font, font style, alignments, cut, copy, and paste
• Write emails
• Save documents, and attach documents and photos to emails
• Use the internet and different web browsers
