DESCRIPTION:December 7 till February 19\, Monday and Wednesday 9:00 – 10:30 pm \nThis course helps international medical graduates (IMGs) and international pharmacy graduates (IPGs) prepare their communication skills for their OSCE exams and for their Canadian healthcare careers. \nIn this course\, you will: \n\nLearn effective professional strategies for communicating with patients in Canada\nConnect with other IMGs and IPGs working on their licensure process in Canada\nImprove your communications strategies to help pass the Observed Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)\nParticipate in a communication practice session with professionally trained simulated patients at Dalhousie University\n\nTo attend this course\, you must: \n\nHave a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 6+\nBe able to attend online\n\nClasses: \n\nTwo online classes per week\nPlus 6-8 hours per week of asynchronous classwork\n\n\n\n\nEligibility in NS: Permanent residents including Convention Refugees\, CUAET & MOME23 holders\, AIP & RNIP participants\, PPs under section 95 of IRPR\, Citizenship holders\, International post-secondary graduates with valid work permit \nFor more information or to register online please go to our website \nYou can also email us directly: healthcarelanguage@isans.ca.
