The FAST program is for skilled immigrants who want to get a head start in their career in Nova Scotia. FAST is delivered online, and it will help you prepare to work in the following sectors:

• Trades
• Biotechnology and life sciences
• IT and data services
• Accounting
• Culinary arts

Through the FAST program, you will:

• better understand your industry sector and occupation in Canada
• learn about Canadian workplace culture
• evaluate your skills and knowledge
• identify opportunities to fill skills and competency gaps

To be eligible for this program you must:

• have a minimum of 2 years of experience in one of the five key sectors mentioned above
• be a Permanent Resident, immigrant Canadian citizen, provincial nominee, or international graduate in Nova Scotia
• be registered as an ISANS client and have an Employment Specialist
• have a minimum language level of CLB 5+
