DESCRIPTION:November 30 – December 16 \nJob Search Strategy Workshop is a workshop delivered in hybrid format\, 2 days in person and 3 days online. \nIn this workshop you will: \n\nDevelop an effective general résumé\, targeted résumé and cover letter and examine advertised and unadvertised job markets.\nLearn how to prepare for an interview by learning best practices for success as well as how to predict the questions.\nExamine techniques for answering questions effectively\, write your own answer and practice answering the questions with other participants.\nLearn and practice methods for networking and how to market your skills.\n\nThe program also includes sessions on the practical aspects of working in Canada such as employment contracts taxation etc. as well as sessions on Canadian workplace culture to increase your chances at success once you land a job. \nMethod of Instruction: Hybrid \nThe Hybrid option is facilitated virtually on MS Teams 3 days/week(Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Fridays) and 2 days/week in person\, (Mondays and Thursdays). The program is run Monday – Friday\, sessions are 3 hours long in the morning or afternoon.
