In-Person Workshop in Oromo- Fire Prevention and Safety

Coming to a new country is a big change. This information session is specifically designed for newcomers to Canada to learn essential fire safety knowledge. By attending, you’ll gain valuable insights into fire prevention techniques, understand how to respond to emergencies effectively, and ensure the safety of yourself and your family in your new home.
This session will be presented in English and interpreted to Oromo.
We will talk about:
- Halifax fire department
- Smoke alarm safety
- Fire exit plan
- Heating and kitchen safety
- Fire extinguishers and sprinklers
- And more!
To participate in this series, you need to:
- Be a registered client of ISANS
- Speak and understand Oromo
- Have a PR status
- Register for this workshop
