Online Business Development Training: Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund (AICLF)

The Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund (AICLF) is an ISANS-led initiative that works to create opportunities for foreign-trained or educated immigrants to get their credentials recognized so they can continue their career of choice in their new home province. AICLF creates these opportunities by providing support and funding to those looking to undertake required training and/or certification.
Join guest speaker Ken Partridge for this training session to learn about the AICLF program, who qualifies, how it works, and how the program can support entrepreneurs looking to start their own business, expand an existing business, or diversify their workforce! He will also reference the free services offered by ISANS and other settlement agencies in the region, including ongoing engagement with business owners across the region.
At this session, you will learn about:
- Who is eligible for the AICLF
- What costs the AICLF can cover
- The kinds of programs the AICLF can help pay for
- How the AICLF is funded and how it is administered across Atlantic Canada
- Why the AICLF is a better choice for immigrants in Atlantic Canada than funding through a private institution
To attend this session, you must:
- Be an ISANS business client
- Have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 5+
