This was a year like no other. From those first few dark days in September when those terrible pictures of little Aylan Kurdi circled the globe and we all woke up to the most disastrous refugee situation that we have seen since the Second World War, ISANS never faltered. Individuals, communities, governments looked to us for information, guidance and leadership and it was ISANS’ time to step up and show what we could do and have been doing for 36 years.
