If you're an internationally educated accountant or have education and/or experience working in the finance field, living in Nova Scotia looking to start a career in your field, upgrade your skills, improve your job search strategies, bridging program will help you:

• Advance your communication skills as an accountant through our Communication Strategies for Accountants Language course (CLB 6+)
• Learn about job-search techniques and workplace culture in your field
• Understand the pathway to become licensed as a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA)
• Brush up on some themes around AP/AR, Taxes, Payroll, etc.
• Opportunity to refresh or upskill in Sage 50 / QuickBooks

To be eligible, you must:

• Have an Accounting, Finance, or Business Background
• Register as an ISANS client and with an ISANS Employment Specialist
• Have a language level of CLB 6+
• Commit to participating in/completing the program components
