About the Program

For newcomers who have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 7or more, we offer two, 4-week courses that focus on formal and informal communication strategies for the workplace. In this video-based course, you will focus on Canadian culture and how it affects language. Every week, you will meet online with an instructor to practice your language skills and communication strategies. This course is 5-7 hours a week.

Soft Skills: Formal Communication - Small Talk, Presentations, Constructive Feedback, and Meeting Language

Soft Skills: Informal Communication - Networking, Negotiating, Working with Others, and Conflict Management

Canadian Citizen, Government Assisted Refugees, PR Application in Progress, PR Pre-Arrival, Refugee Claimants, Registered ISANS Permanent Residents
