UPDATE on ISANS’ Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) Program 2020

FamilyArrival 017_prs

We are currently reviewing the feedback we received from sponsors and constituent groups about our 2019 selection process for the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) program. We have decided to use the next 6 months to carefully review our PSR program and will share updates about it this summer.

For this reason, the 2020 PSR selection process will remain the same as last year, which means that ISANS will not accept new interest forms for 2020. We will select applications from the interest forms we received in 2019.

If you are interested in general information about private refugee sponsorship (such as how to become a sponsor, sponsorship responsibilities, and types of sponsorships), please visit the Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) website at www.rstp.ca.

Upcoming Information Sessions

We will be holding two information sessions about ISANS’ 2020 PSR Selection and Application Process. These sessions are only for people who submitted interest forms in 2019. Everyone who submitted interest forms in 2019 will receive an invitation via the email that they provided last year.

Thank you again for your interest in sponsoring refugees and building a welcoming community where all can belong and grow.
