Become A Welcome Ambassador!

Welcome

On World Kindness Day last month, we shared ideas on how to create welcoming communities, including 10 tips for how you can help make newcomers feel at home. But did you know that ISANS has a free program that you can join to become a Welcome Ambassador?

Our Welcome Ambassador Training program helps people to increase their cultural humility and support more inclusive, diverse, and welcoming communities for all! It is designed for a broad audience, including volunteers, service providers, private refugee sponsorship groups, government employees, business groups, and interested individuals who embrace diversity and want to help build stronger communities.

If you are interested, our next training program starts on January 7, 2021! The training includes four 3-hour classes, which will be held online due to Covid-19 protocols.

For more information on the program and how to apply, click here. The deadline for applications is December 18.
