Feeling empowered is pretty amazing, isn't it?
When we’re empowered, we feel confident, and we take control of the course of our lives, even when circumstances around us are challenging and ever-changing. In place of barriers, we see possibilities.
This is why, every day, ISANS strives to empower immigrants in Nova Scotia, and it's why empowerment is the theme for our Annual General Meeting this year.
We know that with the right support and belief in themselves, immigrants not only overcome the challenges of settling in a new country, but they also contribute immensely to our communities, to our province, and to Canadian society.
Event Details
Join us on June 24th to celebrate the power of empowerment. Meet like-minded people, enjoy some delicious food, and hear inspiring stories from immigrants, employers, and others who share the long-lasting results that come from feeling empowered and empowering those around you.
We'll have a networking hour from 1:30 - 2:30 pm before the meeting officially begins, so if you're joining us in person, be sure to come early!
During the event, we will also present the annual ISANS Award, which recognizes individuals or organizations who have demonstrated exceptional and innovative efforts welcoming immigrants to Nova Scotia.

Date and Time: June 24th, 2:30 - 4:30 pm. Doors open at 1:30 pm for networking, and light refreshments will be served.
