- Canadian Citizen Born outside Canada, Permanent Resident
To be eligible for this program, you must:
- Be newcomers in receipt of Income Assistance
- Be ready to start working in their desired field

About the Program
The Employment Support and Income Assistance (ESIA) Case Management project helps newcomers on Income Assistance to be better prepared for the labour market and access employment in their desired fields.
Participants in the ESIA Case Management Project will:
- Receive personalized case management and employment counselling support
- Complete the 2-week Employment Series workshop Complete safety training
- Receive job development and connection to employment opportunities through wage subsidy support
- Be referred to other ISANS programs and services as needed
