About the Program

ISANS works with individuals, communities and organizations to create a more welcoming and inclusive Nova Scotia. Through our Community Integration Services, we facilitate intercultural learning opportunities and foster meaningful connections, helping immigrants feel at home while encouraging community members to engage and support newcomers.

Additional Information

Our programs help build a community where everyone belongs and grows by fostering an understanding of immigrants' experiences and creating opportunities for personal connections. We partner with local organizations to host welcoming events, such as potlucks and volunteer opportunities, to help immigrants feel safe and at home. Additionally, our Community Connections Program supports newcomers through recreational activities and peer support, helping them adjust to life in Nova Scotia and form meaningful relationships in their new community. Together, we are building a community where everyone belongs.
