Immigration Status:
- Permanent Resident
To be eligible for this program, you must:
- Identify as a visible minority woman
- Be actively seeking employment
- Hold one of the following statuses: Permanent Resident, Refugee or MOME2023 Work Permit
- Have a minimum CLB level 4+
- Commit to completing either the 4-week in-person or 6-week online workshop

About the Program
The Visible Minority Newcomer Women at Work (VMNW) program supports visible minority newcomer women in building confidence, developing job search skills and successfully navigating the Canadian labour market.
Designed to help participants overcome barriers to employment, the program provides personalized support and practical tools for women at all stages of their career journey—whether entering the workforce for the first time in Canada or returning to a professional field.
