A Nova Scotia welcome

On October 14 and 15, 2017, ISANS partnered with Memory Lane Heritage Village (Clam Harbour) to bring 150 recent immigrants to the Nova Scotia Forest Festival.

The group took part in nature walks, enjoyed live music, baked on an antique, wood-burning cookstove and learned about everything from wilderness survival and forest ecology to contemporary harvesting and manufacturing.

Here’s a look at this unforgettable experience.
