Job Search Strategy Workshop Hybrid
An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until December 16, 2026

Job Search Strategy Workshop is a workshop delivered in hybrid format, 2 days in person and 3 days online.
In this workshop you will:
- Develop an effective general résumé, targeted résumé and cover letter and examine advertised and unadvertised job markets.
- Learn how to prepare for an interview by learning best practices for success as well as how to predict the questions.
- Examine techniques for answering questions effectively, write your own answer and practice answering the questions with other participants.
- Learn and practice methods for networking and how to market your skills.
The program also includes sessions on the practical aspects of working in Canada such as employment contracts taxation etc. as well as sessions on Canadian workplace culture to increase your chances at success once you land a job.
Method of Instruction: Hybrid
The Hybrid option is facilitated virtually on MS Teams 3 days/week(Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays) and 2 days/week in person, (Mondays and Thursdays). The program is run Monday – Friday, sessions are 3 hours long in the morning or afternoon. (One month the course is given in the morning and the following month in the afternoon.)
