About the Program

Supporting 30+ families annually, the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program, licensed by Mothers Matter Canada , helps parents prepare their children (ages 3-5) for school by providing structured learning activities in language, literacy, science, math and motor skills.

A Home Visitor meets with the parent once a week for one hour to guide them through activities designed to support early learning. Parents are encouraged to work with their child five days a week for 15-20 minutes using provided resources and activity packets.
