Immigrant Youth Career Exploration Program (IYCEP)

Eligibility

NOTE: You must be a registered ISANS client to be able to access our programs and services

Immigration Status:

  • Canadian Citizen Born outside Canada, Permanent Resident

To be eligible for this program, you must:

  • Be a refugee youth in grades 10-12
  • Be available to attend two classes per week from March to June
  • Participate in scheduled field trips
  • Be available for a summer job from July to August

About the Program

The Immigrant Youth Career Exploration Program (IYCEP) supports refugee youth in high school by helping them explore career options and prepare for the future. Participants learn about post-secondary education, goal setting and career pathways, while also receiving one-on-one employment counselling and coaching.
