Eligibility

NOTE: You must be a registered ISANS client to be able to access our programs and services

Immigration Status:

  • Canadian Citizen Born outside Canada, International Graduate, Permanent Resident, Pre-Arrival- Approved Permanent Resident, Temporary Foreign Worker

To be eligible for this program, you must:

  • Be an international medical graduate
  • Have a minimum CLB level 5
  • Be registered with an ISANS Employment Specialist

About the Program

The International Medical Graduates (IMG) Bridging Program supports internationally trained medical professionals as they navigate the licensure process and transition into Canada’s healthcare system.

Participants gain the knowledge, tools, and support needed to prepare for the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE1) and the National Assessment Collaboration – Objective Structured Clinical Examination (NAC-OSCE). The program also provides access to healthcare communication training, specialized resources and one-on-one guidance to build confidence and exam readiness.
