Where do I get the Welcomed in Halifax card?
The Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS) will provide the Welcomed in Halifax card to all private sponsored and government assisted refugees and you must contact ISANS to collect the card. The Halifax Refugee Clinic can work with asylum seekers to receive a WIH card.
Ukrainian nationals under CUAET program: Starting in June of 2023, ISANS will no longer be the point of distribution for the Welcome in Halifax Card. Please visit www.newinhalifax.ca for updates on new organization and location.
